Sometimes customers want more than a simple change of color. They want to change the entire style of their kitchen. This customer had been changing the country feel of their 50 year old ranch home to reflect their more modern taste. The traditional orange pine veneer with routed accents had to go, and with a rich color and clean straight lines our shaker style cabinets were the perfect match.
The basic footprint for the existing cabinets was basically unchanged, but a corner cabinet, higher space above the range, and roll out shelves create a more functional kitchen using the same space. The darker color cabinets paired with a warmer counter top, stainless steel knobs and matching appliances really create the modern look these customers were looking for.
We are always excited to create new cabinet spaces. We took a bare wall and created a space for entertaining using a wine rack, mullion doors, and a bar/sitting area. We collaborated with the counter top company to crate the most open bar area, and achieved this by using our cabinet materials to create a support structure for the counter top that maximized space but matched the style of the cabinets and kitchen.
