We started with builder grade cabinets that had been painted white at some point. There was also a large amount of unused space in the center of the kitchen. Our customers wanted the refrigerator closer to the stove, and didn't want a microwave above the range anymore.
We moved the refrigerator, and added a microwave shelf close to a new pantry unit. We also added a 4 foot island to better use some of the space in the center of the kitchen.
Deeper cabinets above the refrigerator, and easy reach upper and lower cabinets create more efficient storage solutions. Note the additional light rail at the base of the cabinets and the crown molding at the tops for a more complete look.
